Q: Do you send thank you cards to guests who attended your wedding, but did not give a gift?

A: The general rule of thumb is that you give a Thank you card to everyone that attended, as well as everyone who could not attend but gave you a gift or card. However, within the card itself you can specify what you're thanking them for by hand-writing "thank you for the lovely gift" etc. That way you're clear on what exactly you are appreciative of, whether it by their monetary donation, their gift, their attendance, card, etc.
