Orthodox and Catholic Wedding

Q: My wedding will involve two ceremonies... Orthodox and Catholic. How should I word my invitations to include both?

A: The best idea would be to indicate both of the ceremonies on the same invitation card, rather than sending out separate cards for the two ceremonies. Also, it would be a wonderful gesture for you to invite all your guests to both ceremonies, rather than exclude them from one or the other. This will ensure that you won't hurt anyone's feelings by excluding them from a ceremony they are interested in attending. Although you may know that they prefer one service over the other, and may invite them exclusively to that ceremony, they may be interested in sharing every moment of your special day, and may be interested in witnessing a different kind of service. Excluding someone may cause conflicts... Word the invitations in such a way that both ceremonies are open for all to attend, and empower your guests to come to their own conclusions.
