Q: My fiance became engaged recently... Our mothers are Christian and my father is Hindu and his is Muslim. We are not very religious, but aren't sure what kind of ceremony to have. Our parents have said it's up to us... any suggestions? A: It's so nice to hear that both your parents and your fiancée's parents are so flexible! My suggestion to you would be to find someone to provide personalized services for you. There's a gentleman in my portfolio who will work with you to personalize your wedding vows, and will perform them in any religion for you. This way, you can choose to have a completely non-denominational wedding, or, you can combine all the various religions together to create a unique and personalized ceremony. If this is something you're interested in doing, please don't hesitate to contact me at any time. I'd be happy to connect you with the gentleman/services that I have in mind, as well as aid you in the planning of other aspects of your wedding. |
