Bridal Party Gifts

Q: I just wanted to thank you so much for all your helpful advice. My journey is almost over, but I still need more help. I know that the groom and I give presents to all of our attendees. That has been taken care of. However, I am having friends as readers and some are children from out of town being acolytes and a crucifer. Do I give them gifts as well?

A: With regards to your question I do not think you need to worry about purchasing any special gifts for the readers and children that will be assisting you. Their roles are very small so they probably don't expect anything from you at all. As a nice gesture you may want to consider ordering a few extra picture enlargements after the wedding, putting them in a nice frame and sending it to them with a small thank you note. That should do the trick and I'm sure that gesture will be greatly appreciated!
