Wedding Games

Q: How do I locate games to play during the wedding? I'm having a hard time finding games on the net. Any ideas?

A: There is definitely a shortage of websites that deal with games for the reception. There are always the traditional games that you can use. For example, passing the salt and pepper shakers around the table to the tune of music and the last person to be holding the shakers when the music stops goes to the dance floor. On the dance floor, one more competition can be played to determine the best dancer/singer, etc to win a prize. Also, you can tape a winning card to the bottom of 2 or 3 chairs in the hall. Ask all your guests to look under their seats, and the lucky ones with the card at the bottom get a prize as well! There are several ideas you can select from - you can even create your own! Many times, the DJ's end up being the "hosts" of the wedding games, and they often have many other ideas. It might be worthwhile to ask your DJ if there is a game that they recommend.
