Flowers - FAQs
by Avenue Flower

What should I prepare before going in for a floral consultation?

Magazine cut outs, photographs, and other pictures which closely depict the colour and theme you envisioned, helps you and the florist establish what style and theme you're trying to achieve. As well, bringing in swatches of your bridesmaids dresses help the florist suggest different colours and types of flowers. Photographs of the hall are a superb help as well.

How early do I need to book a florist?
As soon as possible. Some florists are booked a year and a half in advance! Booking with a florist seven to nine months ahead is safe.

How much does a floral package usually cost?
Costs depend on the type of flower, time of year, and quantity. For a fair size package that involves the use of seasonal flowers, and a reception size of 200 guests, which does not land on or close to a major holiday (Valentine's Day/Mother's Day) , you should expect a cost at $ 2000.00 and up.
