How do I get rid of my "love handles" and stomach?
by Body Vision

This commonly asked question has a very straight forward answer yet it is not always easily achieved. A combination of healthy eating and cardiovascular activity must be maintained. One without the other will not achieve your goal, although you would be on your way to a healthier lifestyle and maintenance of your current figure.

Here is the program to success!

1) To reduce your stomach start with a close look at your diet. Remove high fatty foods and minimize your complex carbohydrates (breads, cereals, pasta, especially white grain products).

Secret: If you have to eat bread, cereal or pasta choose brown, rye, whole wheat or other dark grain products. By choosing these you are not only helping yourself in preventing cancer (being high in fiber), but you're giving your stomach the feeling of being full. This full feeling subsides your "hunger pains" for over 3 hours!

2) Cardiovascular activities such as walking (great way to start), biking, swimming and running are great examples.

Secret: Cardiovascular activities must be performed for 30 minutes at a time at a minimum of 4 days per week.

3) Most important, you must complement this program with muscle conditioning exercises which are made up of weighted or resistanced equipment.

Secret: To see improvement quicker, maintain a muscle conditioning workout 3 times a week for 30 minutes. This will keep the skin toned while the fat is being reduced. You will not be bored of the program as there is a lot of variation day to day and you will see the results quicker!

4) Abdominal exercise performed on the ground such as crunches (commonly taught) for more than 3 of your workouts must be immediately changed to some non-ground work (abdominal bench, roman chair or ball) to see results.

Secret: Maintain an abdominal routine of 50 repetitions daily and you achieve your results quicker!

Maintain all 4 parts of this and I guarantee you will "Get rid of your love handles and stomach!"
