Now you have the appointment. You have some ideas and if you are like most brides, you have a whole bridal party, not to mention a few friends and family members, who would like to tag along. Tempting as it may be to get everyone involved, don't. You'll get too many opinions and feel intimidated. Bring just one or two people whose opinions you trust.

After the salesperson assesses your body type and asks for information such as your wedding date and time the formality of the event and your dress preferences and budget, the selection process begins. The bridal consultant will choose the appropriate gowns using the guidelines you have given her.
