Photography Hiring Tips
1) Ask if he/she has access to an indoor studio/facility in the event
that it rains.
2) Do ask what size prints you will be receiving (generally 4x6 or 5x7
upon request).
3) Ask about reprint prices and if negatives are included or available
for purchase.
4) Do ask if you can view some of their work.
5) Do ask if negatives are available.
Videographer Hiring Tips
1) Do ask to view some of the persons work.
2) Do ask if they use wireless microphones to obtain optimum sound reproduction
(especially during vows).
3) Do ask if you have the option between single and 2 camera video production.
2 cameras cover a lot more footage for the videographer to edit from and
mix/dissolve with.
4) Ask if there is the option to purchase the 'edited master' tape.
5) Ask what format they shoot on. Ideally they should be shooting on
S-VHS, Hi-8 or Digital Videotape. These formats allow for less generation
loss when copies are made to VHS.
