We went camping together shortly after we started dating (which was quite gutsy at the time!) and he carved our initials and a heart into a tree stump that was on the campsite, very romantic -- we had a great weekend and absolutely loved the place.

We went back to the same campground two years later.....and managed to get a spot near the tree stump that he had originally carved our names on...I went to take a quick shower early one evening and came back to a very sweaty guy wanting to drag me to the tree stump again (as he claimed to have brought a chisel and carved our initials in deeper so that they would last longer), we went to the stump, and when I turned to look at it, he had carved will u marry me into the same tree stump!! Poor guy, he knows I take fairly quick showers and I think he nearly killed himself carving as fast as he did. It looked great and of course I said yes! He then took me to our tent which he had strewn with rose petals that he had kept hidden in a spare cooler and we opened a bottle of champagne that he had hidden as well. And yes...we have pictures!
