Often located near a National or Provincial Parks, they offer wonderful sights and activities, with phenomenal hiking available from the Alberta Rockies to the Canadian Badlands.

While hiking should become our national pastime, Inns are usually noted for having something unique to their particular accommodation like spa services, mouth watering cuisine, interesting shops and collectibles within or nearby, a jumping off point for expeditions, theater or wonderful outdoor activities like hunting, fishing, or skiing. Other considerations are hunting dinosaurs bones, archaeological digs or visiting any of the many excellent Museums in the area. Even the City lights are never more beautiful than when viewed through the windows of an exquisitely appointed suite in a delightfully charming environment.
