Well, how we met is pretty interesting. We actually lived next door to each other in the same apartment building. I'm sure you're thinking, that's not too original, but the story is better! We each moved in the same day... never met. Never saw each other in the halls, nothing. It wasn't until 4 months after each of us had moved in that we finally met. A girlfriend and I were having cocktails in my apartment when we decided to go out for more refreshments. We stepped out my apartment door and he and his room mate were talking to a friend in the hall... and they invited us over as they were having drinks at their place. We went over and within about 15 minutes that was it... I didn't believe that it could happen that way but it did. My fiancé and I were hooked on each other, and stayed up the whole night talking. Even realizing that we had slept on the opposite sides of the same wall every night and never met. We both agreed that the fates were telling us we weren't ready to meet until we were. And Voila! That's it, and we haven't spent more than 5 nights apart (total) since.
