How do I decide on the style of bridesmaids gowns?

First decide on your own gown - that is most important. Let the bridesmaids have some input, after all, they have to wear them. Then take the sizes of the girls into consideration, try and find a style that suits them all (a-line skirts are very flattering) and perhaps try and match the bodice of your gown to the bridesmaids dresses (example: spaghetti strap, tank style etc.) this makes for a nice balance and also looks great in your photos.
