The trick of having an absolutely stress free wedding is planning, planning and more planning. Top it off with a good right hand man or woman and a great big sense of humour. As a "retired" wedding planner, I found that the trick to making a brides dream come true took extremely detailed planning. For example : I always sat down with the bride and visualize what her dream wedding should be. We then talk about budget, who spends what and if they will be receiving any help. If family is helping, we also sit down with family to see the extent of the help. We also talk about family expectations... and all other miscellaneous information. We write everything down. From the information that I have compiled with the bride and groom (*and family). I create an entire wedding plan. The wedding plan includes approx. budget as well as detailed list of "must have" food, flowers, songs and such. A page totally devoted to visiting all the international and local bridal shows are included. Shows such as this gives one an opportunity to view the latest trends and meet different vendors to compile information. I always felt that Vendors in a bridal show committed to keeping themselves up to date and fashionably knowledgeable.

Because my research is within a limited space, I am able to make decisions reasonably quickly and always to my client's satisfaction. I always have enough time for details, because I took advantage of using the shows to get the services that I needed.
