More Bridesmaids then Ushers

Q: My fiancé only has 3 groomsmen and I have 4 bridesmaids. What should I do with the extra girl? Is it ok to not have anyone for her to walk up the aisle with?

A: This is a great question. Yes, this is perfectly fine. I can suggest one of two things to bring some equilibrium to your processional, or walking order for the ceremony:

1. You can have all the guys waiting at the front, and have the girls walk in solo. This makes it difficult for anyone to even notice that there are more girls than guys.

2. You can have the youngest girl act as a junior bridesmaid, rather than a bridesmaid. That way you have differentiated her role from the others and she can walk solo while the other girls are partnered up as they walk down the aisle.
