Wedding Invitations and Registry Info

Q: Is it proper etiquette to include bridal registry information with the wedding invitations, or should this information be passed along as word of mouth?

A: This is an excellent question, and I commend you on your sensitivity to your guests. Generally speaking, all the registry information is sent with the wedding information, so you should be just fine doing it that way. If you're feeling a bit self-conscious or uncomfortable with this route, then you can include a small note on the registry information indicating something along the following lines:

"For the convenience of our guests, we've included registry information with our invitations. Please feel free to contact us at any time if you have any questions pertaining to the registry".

That way, it looks like a kind gesture on your part, rather than a gift-grab.
