Wedding Dress Styles

Q: I thought I found the dress I wanted to wear for my wedding but was torn between two dresses so I took a picture of myself in both of them. As it turns out I don't like how I looked in the photograph although I loved them in the store. My question is what type or style of dress would suit me? I am 5 feet tall, I weigh 105 pounds, with and athletic build. I have olive skin and medium brown hair. I thought perhaps I was going for the wrong style dress. These were both spaghetti strap, “a line” dresses. There was no waist-band or anything like that, it was a continuous flow from top to bottom.

A: I have to start off by giving you credit…you're certainly looking for the right style. A lady with your frame would not look the greatest in a lot of "puffs and ruffles" so stick to something simple and elegant. This seems to be what you've been doing thus far! With regards to the way you appeared in the photos, don't worry about it! The dress will look completely different when your hair and your make up are done! Keep plowing through...when you find the right dress, you'll just know it!
