Q: My fiancée and I are eager to get married right away…how much advance notice do I need to give my vendors?

A: Depending on the season you’re planning on getting married in, this may or may not be difficult. Generally, for most vendors and services, booking your wedding 6 months to 12 months in advance will be just fine. However, when booking a popular item during peak season, you may run into some difficulty. My advice would be to get cracking as soon as possible. There is no such thing as making a booking too far in advance! Another pointer would be to keep your eyes open for companies and businesses which provide 24 hour service, so that you know who to turn to, if need be. A consultant or close friend may be enlisted to assist you!
