Q: Does the Maid of Honour wear a different dress than the bridesmaids?
A: My opinion, and the trend these days is that the maid of honour wears the same style and colour dress as the rest of the bridesmaids, but hers is a bit more intricately detailed than the others. A bit more in the sense of design is usually used to bring out her dress. The key is to make the maid of honour fit in with the rest of the bridesmaids, yet make her stand out slightly as being a bit different than the rest so that she may be easily recognized as the maid of honour. Simply adding more sequins to the dress, or accentuating the design that is already there should do the job.
